Now that modern brides all over the world are using Real Wedding blogs to collect inspiration for their own Big Days, why should Honeymoon Planning be any different?
Our Real Honeymoons allow you to take a peak inside real trips that we’ve planned for real couples, so you can start collecting ideas of your own.
Check out this all-inclusive Real Honeymoon to Riviera Maya Mexico that Amber planned for Kelsey and Tom.
With so many over-generalizations about the dangers of Mexico, it was awesome to work with a couple like Kelsey and Tom, who understood that Mexico is a HUGE country with many different regions. It’s really comparable to the US actually. There are dangerous areas. But the Riviera Maya, aka honeymooner paradise, shouldn’t make you nervous!
I may have actually fist pumped when Kelsey told me about their affinity for Mexican food. When I get to plan an experience around good guac and life altering chicken tortilla soup, that is just fist pump worthy I’m sorry!
“We are foodies. Guilty. We’ve been looking forward to Mexico like you wouldn’t believe, and I wasn’t leaving there without my fill of churros, chicken tortilla soup, ceviche, and guac. We did do other things, but when we got back and someone asked how our trip was, all I kept saying was, “The food was sooo good!” The week we got home, we went right to Whole Foods to find Panella and Oaxaca cheese. I easily gained 5lbs.”
I think Tom came into the planning process thinking that they wouldn’t be able to have amazing food AND stay all-inclusive like they originally wanted to, but with resorts like Zoetry and Grande Velas, foodies have two more reasons to flock to Mexico. 🙂
